Although the $79 price tag is pretty steep for me, I've decided it's totally worth it. Ordinary cotton pillowcase can pull moisture and skincare products away from your skin, while silk pillowcases keep your hydration where it belongs — on your face.
Since silk has a slip to it, it doesn't tug at your skin or hair, which creates less friction as you toss and turn in your sleep. That means less trauma to your delicate skin and less chance of breaking your fragile strands.
I also love that the pillowcases are machine washable and available in so many colors. Regardless of my future bedroom decor, I'll always be able to use a Slip pillowcase that matches. Now that I've been using these cases for a few years, I don't think I can ever go back to waking up with creases on my face again.
