For 2024, broadhead kingpin Rage continues to improve many of its tried-and-true, original broadheads. Now bowhunters will find proven NC (No Collar) technology in Rage's original 2-Blade, 2-Blade Chisel-tip, and Crossbow X broadheads. All heads will be available in 100- and 125-grain models. The brilliance behind NC Technology is the finger-like tabs on the blades' pivot point. These fingers anchor the blades in place while in the closed position and keep them contained, even when fired from today's high-speed bows and crossbows.
Featuring adjustable Offset Blade Technology, Muzzy's latest Trocar build helps maximize shooter accuracy by improving broadhead flight. The razor-sharp and bulletproof .039-inch thick blades adjust right or left offset to match string twist and fletching orientation and combat multiple factors that negatively impact arrow flight. The Trocar Ti's true center blade retention system ensures blades stay locked in the correct position before being threaded into the arrow, and the Ti is available in 100-grain vertical bow options and 100- and 125-grain crossbow models. The cutting diameter is 1.25 inches.
Make way for the Titanium 1.75 Broadhead from SEVR. Optimized for penetration and cut diameter, the 1.75 will work when fired from all of today's vertical and horizontal bows — it has no speed limit rating. It is assembled with a machined one-piece titanium ferrule with a precision-ground tip. The patented Lock-and-Pivot non-barbed blades lock open on impact and pivot around the bone as the broadhead carves its impressive wound channel. Practice Mode means the insertion of an included set screw into the second hole in the ferrule locks the blades in place so you can practice with the same broadheads you hunt with.
We've seen some sharp (no pun intended) broadhead builds from Wasp. For 2024, the manufacturer continues its legacy with the Jak-X Velocity. A three-blade expandable engineered to resist premature opening even from the fastest crossbows on the market, this 1-3/4-inch cut broadhead is a good one. A new blade design allows the broadhead to handle speeds over 425 fps, and of course, the head cuts and penetrates like crazy.
NAP is to broadheads what Michael Jordan is to basketball. You can't have one without the other, and in true NAP fashion, the manufacturer has unleased another winning mechanical killer. Dubbed the Verdict, the broadhead promises field-point accurate flight and was designed for vertical and horizontal bows. A pair of .032-inch thick blades deliver a massive 2-inch wound channel. The blades hold tight in flight, giving this slender killer a slim 11/16-inch in-flight diameter. The Verdict comes in an aluminum and stainless-steel model.

Carcharodon carcharias is the most feared shark in the ocean, and for 2024, Dead Ringer's Great White two-blade will likely be one of the most feared by big-game broadheads in the woods. Producing a 1-inch entry with a whopping 2.25-inch exit wound, this front-deploy mechanical head is engineered to perform flawlessly from horizontal and vertical bows. Dead Ringer includes a 25-grain brass alignment collar, so you can easily take a 100-grain Great White and transform it into a 125-grain broadhead.
Engineered to maintain your arrow's rotational spin through impact, Iron Will's Single Bevel 100s fly like darts and hit like a hammer. Left and right bevel options are available to match your arrow's rotation in flight, and the 1-1/16-inch main blades line up perfectly with the ferrule for maximum accuracy. A little frosting on the cake, Iron Will added 3/4-inch bleeder blades to reinforce your arrow's rotation through the animal while carving a larger hole. Made from A2 Tool Steel and then heat treated and finished with a cryogenic quench process, these broadheads are a fixed blade Cadillac.

VPA knows a thing or ten about custom machining and has taken its knowledge of CAD design, engineering, material type, etc., and created some devastating broadheads. For 2024, VPA will bring its Omega to market. A robust, one-piece, precision-machined fixed-blade made in the good ol' USA, this double-bevel head is a killer. A patent-pending feature branded as LayFlat sharpening makes resharpening the broadhead a breeze, meaning you can take multiple critters with this no-jigs, no-hassle-to-sharpen broadhead. The integrated ferrule forms a wedge from tip to tail, which holds the wound channel open and allows the arrow shaft to pass through without interference. All VPA Omegas come from S7 steel and have a Tanto tip and sharp 26-degree single bevel blades. Multiple grain types are available.
Fitted with a bone-busting Tanto Tip and available in 100- and 125-grain options, Tooth of the Arrow's Single Bevel 2-Blade is a fixed-blade win. Machined in the USA from a solid bar of steel and heat-treated, durability is second to none, and the heavy-duty .060-inch thick blades are razor sharp and carve an exceptional wound channel. The beveled blades rotate on impact, making this one-piece construction broadhead a serious eyebrow-raiser.
New from broadhead mastermind Ozcut is the Kreature. Available in 100- and 125-grain options, this 100 percent stainless-steel head features an expandable cut-on-contact hybrid tip and provides a cutting diameter of 1.75 inches. A pair of fixed blades cut .75 inches, and this guaranteed field-point-accurate broadhead uses a one-piece slip-on collar to prevent mechanical blade deployment. Other must-mention features are that each three-pack comes with a single practice broadhead and three replaceable collars with attached expandable blades. The Kreature has no vents to ensure silent flight, and the fixed blades are easy to resharpen.

Rage Broadheads are the best-selling broadhead in the country, but according to Chris James, General Manager of Archery at Feradyne, the innovation and improvements never stop. He discusses significant changes made in nearly every model of Rage Broadheads with Bowhunter TV's Curt Wells. Wells' favorite mechanical broadhead has been the Rage Trypan ever since it hit the market and this titanium-ferruled broadhead just keeps getting better and more versatile. Check out this video for all the new possibilities at Rage.
Chris James, General Manager of Archery at Feradyne, explains some of the improvements made to the Muzzy Trocar Ti, an ultra-tough titanium-ferruled broadhead that has performed well over the years for Curt Wells of Bowhunter TV. Wells has taken numerous animals with the Trocar Ti including moose, caribou, elk, and a 2,000 lb. buffalo in Argentina, a testament to this broadhead's toughness. Wells believes that when it comes to fixed, replaceable-blade broadheads, there is none better than the Muzzy Trocar Ti.
Curt Wells of Bowhunter TV chats with Chris James, General Manager of Archery at Feradyne, about the introduction of the new GlenDel Black Bear target. This target gives bear hunters the opportunity to practice shots on an animal that has a slightly different anatomy than a deer, and that is important when it comes to shot placement at various angles such as from the ground when stalking or from a treestand over bait. Practicing on 3D targets is invaluable.
