Retailing for $75, the men’s Wally Realtree Edge marries the comfort and durability of Hey Dude’s footwear styles and Realtree’s signature camo design. The low-top footwear comes in a wide range of men’s sizes and includes durable canvas Realtree Edge neutral camo-printed uppers, ultra-light outsoles, sleek and easy two-toned sport lace-up closures and textile-lined removable insoles.
The footwear includes rubber soles fitted with reliable tread for a non-slip feel. The co-branded shoe style was crafted with Hey Dude’s unique flex and fold technology that works with the wearer’s gait. The innovative tech also allows the wearer to fold and ball up the footwear, similar to socks, for easier storage. Conceived in 2008 by Italian entrepreneur Alessandro Rosano, Hey Dude is a footwear company that makes adventure-friendly and comfortable styles including boots, platforms and sneakers among other things. In 2021 Crocs acquired Hey Dude in a $2.5 billion deal. Hey Dude most recently signed an NIL agreement with 12 athletes across eight universities. Each athlete will act as a brand ambassador for Hey Dude through content, pre-and post-game wearing and more, according to the company.
In 2022, the footwear brand’s revenue exceeded initial expectations, reaching $986.2 million for the full year, according to parent company Crocs Inc., which closed its acquisition of the label last February. In March of this year, the brand further expanded its line beyond the popular Wally and Wendy moccasins to include a range of athletic sneakers.
